If you are a California consumer, this Policy describes our practices under the CPRA/CCPA framework where applicable. Where we process personal information on behalf of customers, we do so as a service provider/processor. Where you use the Service for your own account, we determine purposes and means of processing for those interactions.

2) Information we collect

• Account & contact data: name, email address, and other identifiers you provide to create or manage an account.
• Usage & operational data: activity logs, features used, and service performance information.
• Content you provide: deadline items, compliance notes, documents or entries you enter into the Service (as applicable).
• Support data: information you share when contacting us (e.g., support requests).

3) How we use information

We use personal/client information to: (a) provide and operate the Service (including deadline management and compliance dashboards); (b) communicate with you about your account and the Service; (c) authenticate and secure access; (d) troubleshoot, audit, and improve performance; and (e) comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4) Sharing & disclosures

We may share personal/client information with: (a) service providers that help us deliver the Service (e.g., hosting, analytics, email delivery, security); (b) professional advisors (e.g., legal/accounting) where needed; and (c) third parties if required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information as “sale” under CPRA/CCPA in a manner inconsistent with applicable law.

5) Data retention

We retain personal/client information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, and comply with legal/regulatory requirements. Retention periods vary based on account activity, support needs, and legal obligations.

6) Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal/client information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration. No security measure is perfect; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7) International transfers

If we transfer personal/client information internationally for hosting or support, we take steps intended to protect it using appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

8) California privacy rights (CPRA/CCPA)

If we collect personally identifiable information from California consumers, we provide the rights and disclosures required under applicable law, including the requirements described in Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 22575 and Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 22577.

For covered businesses under the CPRA/CCPA framework, where we collect personal information online, we provide disclosures consistent with Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.115, Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140, and Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83, including required Notice at Collection components.

Do Not Track (DNT) / choice: Some browsers have “Do Not Track” signals. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. You can make privacy choices by contacting us using the contact details below.

9) How to exercise rights

To request access, deletion, correction, or to exercise applicable opt-out/limit choices, contact us using the methods below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests.

10) Subscription payments (if applicable)

If you purchase a subscription and make online payments, the subscription agreement discloses our provider name, address, and telephone number as required by Cal. Civ. Code § 1789.3.
